GENERAL & ELECTION MEETING

Dear members,

There will be a general meeting this week and election on the incoming board of directors will be held this FRIDAY - 28 of March 2008 at 12.30 p.m in 5M. Please attend this meeting to vote for the club's NEW board of directors. Thank you!

Brighten Up the School Compound

A school service and environmental service project was held on the 11th of March 2008 in SMK USJ4. Leo Victor Pang is the Organizing Chairperson for this project. Leo Club of SMK USJ4 donated 10 bougainvilleas to the school to brighten up the school compound. 4 members were involved in this project which are Leo Victor Pang, Leo Rhae Yaenn, Leo Brandon and Leo Choo Quan. The bougainvilleas were placed at the foyer A infront the assembly hall. Two days before this project, Leo Victor Pang, Leo Rhae Yaenn and their mother, Madam Angie went hunting for the bougainvilleas.

Leo Club of SMK Seafield 7th IU Day

Leo Club of SMK seafield will be having their I.U this coming April. The details of the event are as follows:

Theme : “The Dawn of Festivals”
Venue : Summit Grand Ballroom
Date : 13^th of April 2008 ( Sunday )
Time : 3.00 p.m – 9.00 p.m
Price : RM50
Attire : Formal/Semi-Formal/Funky/Colourful

The main purpose of this event is to help people understand the different cultures and traditions of other countries through the festivals that they celebrate annually. The guests will discover interesting facts about six different types of festivals, which are not popular in Malaysia. Besides that, this event will be use as an opportunity to bring people of different cultures, beliefs, societies and backgrounds together in favour of unity. The proceeds from this event will enable us to fund our upcoming Leo Projects.
